Here is the round-up for December and January:

• Tradevine: Reduced the number of web requests and improving retries when talking to Xero/Trade Me/Shopify, improving the speed data is processed.
• Tradevine: Fix the listing cap calculation on live listings when multiple Trade Me accounts are connected.
• Tradevine: Extra validation in the login process to improve security.
• Tradevine: Improve how Sales Orders imported from Trade Me/Shopify handle customers, fixing an issue with creating duplicated customers.
• Tradevine: Optimized the speed of processing events, such as sales.
• Tradevine: In rare cases the Sales order page would hang, not allowing saving, this is now fixed.
• MyProducts: In some cases search did not work on My Products, resulting in a hanging page and no results. This is now fixed.

New features in this release

Roles

It is now possible to assign roles to your users.

You can now create your own Roles and assign various levels of permissions to the different parts of Tradevine. This includes a permission for hiding your cost pricing. Just remember to unassign the user from the Administrator role.

It also comes with a Preview screen so you can see what areas the user will have access to.

Reports

We have added the following new reports:

• Sales Order export

An In Stock Only option has also been added to the Inventory Summary report.

Warehousing

You can now assign a default warehouse to automatically appear as your first choice each time you create new purchase orders.

Trade Me – Shipping Templates

It is now possible to delete a shipping template.

A friendly prompt has also been added to remind you that changing a template will affect other products which share the same template.

Trade Me – Icon Badge

The icon badge displayed in Trade Me on the likes of the Sold and Unsold tabs etc now displays TV (Tradevine) for Tradevine users, instead of MP (My Products).

Importing Product Changes

There are no importing changes in this release.

BUG fixes

• You can now get to the No Photos tab when searching to see where your product photos are used on the Photos screen.
• A concurrency error was sometimes encountered when bulk printing pick lists.
• An error would occur when importing contacts from Xero when the currency was unknown.
• Sometimes a Trade Me shipping template would persist after opting for a different shipping option.

Product labels

You can now add product labels to products from the Trade Me products screen and the Shopify products screen.

Product deletions

Deleted products will now be available for recovery up to 7 days. After this the deletion is permanent. Contact Tradevine immediately if you accidentally deleted your products, so we can recover them before the 7 day expiry.

Trade Me – bulk manual listings

It is now only possible to manually create a listing for one product at a time.

Trade Me – Charities

The St John and The Christchurch Foundation charities have been added. There are now 4 charities to select from if you wish to donate via your sold listings.

Trade Me – videos

Videos can now be added to MVLs if you are a Top Seller or a Store.

Shopify

We have updated how we talk to Shopify behind the scenes to keep up with how Shopify would like things done. You should not notice anything different.

Importing product changes

If you import your products then you may be interested in the following changes.

Modified:

• Trade Me YouTube Video Key can now be applied to MVLs if you are a Top Seller or a Store.

Bug Fixes

• Saving an MVL was sometimes incorrectly validating an unselected FPO option.
• Occasionally when auto-listing a Trade Me product it would fail up to 5 times because of a database constraint.

We have made some improvements to your MVL products. You can now:

• Rename your Options and values.
• Drag and drop your Option values to re-order them.
• Drag and drop your photos to re-order them.

Trade Me – Book-a-Courier

Book-a-Courier has been added as a shipping option to your product listing rules. This will allow you to get up-to-date courier rates for a door-to-door courier service. The rates are populated on your listing when it gets created.

Trade Me – multi-variant products

We have increased the Variants Group Code for MVL products from 20 characters to 80.

Price promotions and clearance settings are now correctly applied to MVL products.

Seller comments on Trade Me listings were incorrectly displaying more than once.

Trade Me – listing rule calculator

The profit calculator on the product listing rule was incorrectly hidden when the shipping template contained just a solitary entry.

Shopify

Sometimes when importing products the Shopify variant IDs were incorrectly being cleared out.

Occasionally product photos were not making it into Shopify.

API

ISO country code has been added to the address output.

Importing product changes

There are no changes to importing in this release.

Key Bug Fixes

1. Product images uploaded from Mobile devices were unexpectedly rotated.
