New features in this release

iPad product photos

You should now be able to upload your product photos via your iPad.

Cosmetic product changes

We have made some minor layout changes to the way each product’s info is displayed.

The Trade Me Product/Rules menu has also been promoted up the menu.

Sales report discounts

Discounted product lines have been added to the sales report.

Importing product changes

There are no changes to importing for this release.

Key Bug Fixes

  1. Warehouse only users who also had their own Tradevine accounts were erroneously able to view more than they should about the other users login.
  2. It is now not possible to set up product rules in restricted categories.
  3. Bulk updating your promo templates was incorrectly being applied to all rules instead of just the rules featured in the filtered view.

Price promotions and was pricing has been added for the members who have authorisation from Trade Me to do clearance items.

Shopify – multi variant photos

We have improved the way that we handle images on products with variants.

Shopify – importing products

We have improved the way that we import products from Shopify and how they are merged with existing products.

If you import or re-import your products then you may be interested in the following changes.

In accordance with Trade Me’s photo policy, photos will now be checked to ensure the longest side is at least 500 pixels in length.

The TOLL courier tracking link has been updated.

We have made several behind the scenes changes to help optimise the performance and to keep us up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Key Bug Fixes

  1. The checking of new and current listings sometimes remained deactivated when an inactive account changed to a new plan.
  2. Firefox and Internet Explorer now better handle copy and paste where we were allowing a direct copy to occur.

Trade Me – Auto combining sales orders

Previously only the first sales order was being auto-combined onto a single sales order when the customer, address and payment types matched. Now all matching sales are combined onto the same sales order.

Shopify photos in Internet Explorer

When using Internet Explorer and editing a photo on a product, JPG type photos were not displaying in Shopify.

Key Bug Fixes

  1. Unexpected page breaks were occurring on some PDFs like the packing slip when the product code consisted of only a few characters.

Dymo printer problems with Chrome 42

Having issues with your Dymo printer?

Google updated Chrome and it caused a small problem with it talking to your Dymo printer.

To fix this follow the steps below…

* With version 42 of Chrome, Google now disables NPAPI which is required to run the Dymo plugin. However, you can manually enable it by typing the following into the Chrome address bar and adjusting the setting:

chrome://flags/#‎enable‬-npapi

Click enable, then relaunch now (at the bottom of the page).

* Enabling NPAPI may not be enough. In some instances, you may have to uninstall and re-install the DLS software for the plugin to appear in the plugin list: chrome://plugins/

Stocktake product photos

The stocktake PDF count sheets now include the main product photo. The stocktake sheets should now be ordered by product code.

Trade Me – bulk delete listing rules

It is now possible to bulk delete listing rules from the Trade Me products screen.

Trade Me – listing type filter

You can now filter the Trade Me listings screen by the listing creation type (auto-listed, manual or imported).

New DHL Global Mail courier

We have added DHL Global Mail as a new courier option.

  1. Some iOS devices etc were unable to log in and encountering a misleading browser out of date error.
