Recent Changes to Tradevine

Trade Me Import

You can import products, photos and active listings all at once with a single button-click. It can also be re-run at any time and will either create new products based on any new listings that the system discovers or it will link the new listings to your existing products.

 

Next and Previous Buttons

We have added Next and Previous buttons on Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Products. This means you can navigate around these items without having to return to the list screen.  If filter or sort criteria have been defined then these will be honoured.

 

Ability to Add Shipping Notes Before and After Shipping Confirmed

It is now possible to add shipping notes before shipment and also modify them after a shipment has been confirmed.

 

Login Screen

We have changed the main login screen so that the username and password can be remembered if your browser supports this feature and it is enabled.

 

Allow an Extra Tracking Number on Shipments

You can now capture and track your additional rural delivery delivery tracking numbers on the Shipments screen .

 

Shipping Label

You can add the customer phone number to the Shipping label.  You can change the format of your shipping labels by following the instructions here.

 

Add Sell Price to Fixed Price Offer Options

The product Selling Price has been added as an option to choose when selecting the price on which to base your Fixed Priced Offers.

 

McDowall Freight Added

We have added McDowall Freight courier into the Shipped With list. When you save a tracking number, the system will create the link to their tracking page.

 

Customer Emails

We have modified emails sent to the customer to better display your company’s logo.

 

Grid Bulk Actions

We have redesigned the way we display the bulk actions for items in our lists/grids. This should make them easier to discover.

 

Key Bug Fixes

  1. Sales Order Report – Fixed the ‘Balance to Ship’ field
  2. Increased the length of Product Name in the Shopify Settings.
  3. Gross Margin calculation fixed on Sales Order screen
  4. Performance bug on the dashboard
  5. Stocktake PDF fixed for large documents.

All of these improvements are based on customer feedback. We are planning to release further improvements on a regular basis. 100 000 Trade Me listings and $2 million of sales processed by Tradevine!

Over the weekend, Tradevine achieved 2 significant milestones on behalf of our users:

  • the 100 000th Trade Me listing
  • $2 million worth of sales orders

We are really pleased with this continuing validation of our service and it is great progress considering we only released the Tradevine application a few months ago.

We’d like to really thank our Users for their valuable contributions and feedback to date. It’s great working with you all and we’ll continue to roll out new features and enhancements based on your requirements.

Xero Maintenance Sunday 13th May @ 4am

On Sunday 13th May Xero will be performing system maintenance.  It is scheduled to start at 4am and last up to 2 hours.  You can read more  on the Xero site here.

 

If your Tradevine account is linked to Xero this may mean that there are delays in processing invoices during this time.  Once the Xero update is complete Tradevine will automatically process the delayed invoices.

Starship – Staff CharityMob

We all have community responsibility such as preserving the environment and supporting community causes.

So we, the staff at Tradevine have got together and raised $500 for Starship Children’s Health. We wanted to help ensure that Starship remains a world class medical facility for all of New Zealand’s children by supporting their current initiatives.

Starship is a fabulous cause so we approached our CEO to see if our company would match our donation. Our company has agreed to not only match our staff contribution but to potentially double it!

Revised Trade Me Pay Now Fees

With effect from today Trade Me have changed the Pay Now commission rate for Top Sellers.

Previously the amount was 0.95%, the revised rate is 1.65%.

If you use Tradevine and Xero It is important to change the setting in Tradevine to reflect the new amount.

Go to ‘Settings -> Selling Channels’ and select your Trade Me selling channel.  Then open the ‘Payment and Shipping’ section and adjust the Pay Now commission field.

Tradevine to present at Trade Me Top Seller Conference 22nd May 2012

We’re pleased to be presenting at this year’s Top Seller conference at the Ellerslie Racecourse in Auckland on the 22nd May. There is a must see key note address by Trade Me Chairman David Kirk followed by a number of other speakers including our fulfilment partner, Brightstar NZ (represented by Haymon Keeler). Our slot kicks off at 1.45pm. Come and see us at the conference and receive a special promotional offer from New Zealand Post when you sign up and use Tradevine. Recent Changes to Tradevine

Shopify

We are excited to announce that our beta Shopify Integration has been released. This means you can use Tradevine to manage your web shop, populate it with products, automatically receive sales orders from it and manage your inventory.  It is currently in a beta phase until further notice. Please make sure your Shopify store is set up as per our guidelines.  You can find our more about Shopify on their website.

UserVoice

This is a new forum to allow you to vote on features that you would like to see in Tradevine and even voice your own suggestions and ideas for others to vote upon.  We really do value your input and feedback in making Tradevine even better, help us by telling us what you think.

Inventory Breakdown

We have a new screen that has a visual representation of the various allocations of your inventory. This is really useful now that Tradevine has multiple sales channels. This screen is displayed on the Inventory Adjustments page, as well as on the Sales Order.

Inventory Check in Sales Orders

As you enter a Sales Order line the inventory will immediately be checked and visual feedback given to indicate if there is sufficient stock to fulfill the order. Green means all is good, Red that you don’t have any available and Orange that you have sold more than available and not all orders can be shipped.

Xero Authorisation

When you log on, Tradevine now automatically checks that Xero is authorised, if it isn’t, or if authorisation has expired, a notification to reauthorise will now appear on your Dashboard.

Delete Products

You are now able to delete individual products provided that no transactions have occurred for the product.

Second Invoice Layout

We have a new invoice layout to allow users to pack a folded invoice into the clear packing envelope and have the address displayed.

New Search Filters

A couple of new fields have been added to our order, shipment and receipt search filters.

In Sales Order List, a new filter has been added to allow you to search by the shipment method and payment method.

In Shipments List, new filter has been added to allow you to search by the product being shipped. The other is to allow you to search by the shipment method.

In Goods Receipts List, new filter has been added to allow you to search by the product being received.

Weight and Dimensions

On the Product Information screen new fields have been added to allow you to enter product characteristics such as weight, length, width and height. The weight will be passed to Shopify for use in weight based shipping charge calculations. The length, width and height are not yet being used, but you can enter the data now in anticipation of future Tradevine features.

Barcodes

On the Shipments screen, when scanning in the tracking reference, it will no longer automatically confirm shipment.  This will allow to you continue to make adjustments and alterations after the tracking reference has been entered.

Fast Shipment Options

It is now possible to add in an extra email address or to cc another person on the shipping invoice and or packing slip. This option will only become available if one or both of the email check boxes are selected.

Key Bug Fixes

  1. Tradevine will now check the Trade Me Category Codes for 4 chars during an import of data from Excel, if less than 4 chars is detected, Tradevine will now prefix 0’s appropriately.
